2023 Director Nomination And Election Process
At the 2023 Annual General Meeting, Autism Alliance of Canada’s Board of Directors will have an opening for up to two new Directors.
Nominations for these open Director positions will be accepted from organization and community members. Each year, we look for more geographical and cultural diversity for our Board. This year, we are particularly interested in applications from: Saskatchewan, Quebec, the Maritimes, and the North. Also, we are interested in rurality and Indigeneity as factors for consideration.
In terms of skill sets, we are specifically looking for someone interested in assuming the role of Treasurer with financial expertise. We would also welcome nominations from individuals with experience in government relations, public policy or health systems research and knowledge translation.
