Yesterday was International Day of Persons with Disabilities, and on this day, CADSA took part in the 13th United Nations’ Conference of State Parties for the CPRD. We would like to share with you CASDA’s presentation at the United Nations’ Side Event ‘Promoting inclusive environments for the full implementation of the CRPD for children with disabilities’.
“A social model of disability means that barriers are removed, rather than disabled people needing to change themselves. When barriers are removed, people are more independent and equal in society.”
-Rebekah Kintzinger
